Venus of Turin

Venus of Turin----Inspired by Titian,have always cherished doing a large canvas this is by far my larges 32*36 inches,was tough to do the linen and the curtain but eventually the patience paid off.

Age of innocence---24*26" oil on canvas---I have always found very challenging to paint children as its hard to capture the innocence in their smile, their limbs to seem very uneven for a grown up posture yet there is undiluted beauty.....saw this picture on a old poetry book and decided to capture

This canvas(36"*36")is the largest of my canvas so far and it took me approximately 6 weeks to complete this,I have always been fascinated by horses .

yesterday i travelled from kasauli to Navi one of the remotest villages in HP, wonderful to see the country life and the simple country folks, spent some time amidst apple orchards saw two distinct sides of himachal in 2 days
